What acupuncture can do for you

Get out of pain, decrease inflammation, improve circulation, and balance your entire body

Acupuncture treatments are not painful for most people. A slight sensation when a needle inserted is normal and some people feel nothing at all. Most people report that acupuncture is a deeply relaxing experience.

Acupuncture generally requires frequent and consistent treatment to deliver the best results. Most patients start with 1-2 sessions per week for a month or more depending on the condition and how long it has existed.

Acupuncture is a very low risk procedure with few (if any) contraindications. However, if you are pregnant, are on blood thinners, have a bleeding disorder, or generally bruise or bleed easily then some extra precautions may be taken to ensure your safety and satisfaction.

Comfortable and loose clothing that enables easy access to at least the lower legs, arms, hands and feet is recommended.

Acupuncture is becoming more widely accepted by insurance carriers. We are currently in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and others are in the works. You may have out of network benefits and we are more than happy to provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement.

Your first appointment is one hour that allows for consultation and about 30 minutes to rest with needles in.

Follow up appointments will take 45 mins to 1 hour depending on the complexity of the treatment.
